Terms of use
Last updated 13 September 2026. DropZoom is a product of Grey Arc Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17231697). Registered office: 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. These terms govern dropzoom.link, publish.dropzoom.link and related DropZoom services.
What DropZoom does
DropZoom lets you publish files and folders to a URL so you or someone else can open them. It is a publishing service, not general hosting, email, or a collaboration platform.
Public by default
Unless you set a password, anyone with the link can open the publication. Do not publish secrets, private keys, passwords, unpublished personal data, or anything you would not put on a public webpage.
Guest links
You can try DropZoom without an account. Guest publications expire after 24 hours. Create an account if you want to keep the same URL.
Accounts and keys
If you create an account, you sign up with a username and a passphrase. We do not collect an email address. When your account is created we issue one recovery / agent key and show it once; we keep only a hash of it. You are responsible for the account, for any recovery key we issue, and for any invitation you store. Do not put a recovery key on a command line that will be logged. Do not share it.
An agent installs https://dropzoom.link/dropzoom.mjs and connects with a recovery key. There is no public npm package. The command-line tool does not accept passphrases. Invitations still work; they are for first-time setup only.
Your content
You keep ownership of what you publish. Grey Arc Ltd hosts the files you upload so DropZoom can serve the URL. You are the publisher of that content. You must have the right to publish it, and you are responsible for it. You grant Grey Arc Ltd a licence to host, scan, cache and serve the content so the service can operate. If a third party claims your publication is unlawful or infringing, you will cover Grey Arc Ltd for the reasonable cost of dealing with that claim. This does not limit any liability we cannot exclude under English law.
Our limits
We may refuse, scan, rate-limit, expire, password-protect or remove content. Scanning looks for malware and a limited set of accidental secrets. It does not find every secret or every harmful file, and it is not a guarantee. If the scanner is down, a new guest publish can fail closed until a clean verdict exists. Existing links that already had a clean verdict may stay readable.
Cloudflare
DropZoom runs on Cloudflare. Traffic, files and account data are processed on Cloudflare’s network so the service can run.
No warranty
DropZoom is provided as is. We do not promise uninterrupted service, or that a link will remain available forever. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that English law does not allow us to exclude.
English law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, you may bring a claim in the courts of England and Wales or in the courts of your home country if that country’s law gives you that right. If you are not a consumer, the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top is the current version. We will change that date when we do. If a change is material, we will try to flag it on the site. Continuing to use DropZoom after an update means you accept the new terms for later use. It does not rewrite what you already published.

For abuse reports, privacy requests or other questions about DropZoom, use the contact form. It is protected by a human check, accepts no attachments, and reaches the people who run DropZoom. There is no public mailbox.
